The seat is shaped out of pine in the saddle form. A faux finish was applied to give the chair an aged look right from the shop. Stains and layers of different color paints were used to give it a "history". The final stage invloved setting the chair ablaze in order to oxidze the milk paint. |

The legs, uprights and stretchers, crafted of Hard Maple, are turned in a traditional style. |
Made of Black Oak, Hard Maple and Pine. Finished with a water-based stain, milk paint, brushed shellac, fire and wax.
