The pattern for the carving came from a celtic knitting pattern book. The mirror frame was joined using hand cut mortise and tenons and then pinned to fully secure the joint.

Made of Oregon White Oak. The mirror was made soley with hand tools. It was finished with an oil based stain and dozen coats of boiled linseed oil.
