The bookshelf is based on a Gustav Stickley shelf. The side slats are mortised with curved shoulders into the arced rails.
	The combination of straight lines and curved aprons complete the classic Mission look.

The Bookshelf is made of Quarter-sawn White Oak. It comes apart into two main pieces for ease of transportation. It is finished with a four stage process involving analyne dye, sealer, glaze and a Waterlox top coat.
